The Best Time To Visit Mahale Mountains National Park is during the dry season, from May to October. During this period, trekking to observe chimpanzees is more manageable as the trails are drier, and the primates are concentrated around water sources. The months of June to September are particularly favoured for clear skies and comfortable temperatures. While the wet season from November to April brings lush landscapes, trekking can be challenging due to muddy trails.
