Love & Dove African provides one-day Tours & Safaris to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. These full day Safaris are specifically ideal tours for clients with limited time or on short stays in Arusha, Moshi Town and other locations but would like the special opportunity to experience the spectacular wildlife adventures that Tanzania has to offer. For example those with a day to spare while in transit to other destination, or prior to a Kilimanjaro trekking venture, before or after a conference or business meetings, or for big student groups and volunteers. Our day Tours and Safaris are short but extremely thrilling. All pick-ups will be from Arusha or Moshi Town, other alternate pick up locations can be indicated by the client and agreed upon in advance to ensure efficiency

After your early breakfast, representative and professional driver/guide of Love & Dove Africa will pick you up at your hotel or lodge. You will depart from Arusha at approximately 9O’clock. You will embark on your drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park is a place of scenic beauty situated at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Approximately 330 square km (127 Square miles of which 77 square miles) is the Lake and located in the Northern Circuit, 1.5 hours drive West of Arusha Town, a distance of 126km (80miles) from Arusha. From the entrance gate, you will drive through winding roads into Park’s dense forest like landscape, filled with Acacia woodlands. The Park naturally derives its name from the vast alkaline or Soda-ash Lake, which can be spotted in shimmering spectacular. During your game drive, you will sight several troops of baboon relaxing by the roadside. Further into your excursion a variety of wildlife will emerge including enormous elephants, graceful giraffes, zebras, bushbucks, dik-dik, wildebeest, buffalos, mongoose, klipspringer and several birdlife. The Park is quite rich in birdlife with approximately 400 species. Along the lake you will view the pink-horned flamingos and other water birds like storks, pelicans and cormorants. Lake Manyara National Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lion, which you may see, particularly in the early mornings. And if you are lucky to view a pride of lions lounging in a tree, it can be an extraordinary exhibition. Picnic Lunch boxes will be prepared for your tour.
After your afternoon game drive, you will embark on the drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
